Original poster 7 points 1 year ago. Use the regular remove roof area option found in the architect zone area menu to draw an orange area above the roof you want to remove. Roof collapses cause injuries to colonists and damage items. So i try to remove the mountain roofs so they don t collapse by declareing a no roof area but on some tiles it will never be possible to declare that area and if i let the roof collapse and remove the debris it just collapses again presumably forever since i tried removing it 15 times and it still collapsed.

Can t remove mountain roof without mod. Only tested with rimworld 0 16 at the moment. Build roof that connects to that overhead mountain part. Allows you to edit the roof type on any tile in a rimworld savegame.

This works for any map size. Sep 13 2017 11 49am guys this is from 2016. Wait for a pawn to remove it or select a constructor pawn and right click the area to instruct him to do it right away. If you mean just removing things under the roof then you need to build a pillar every 6 tiles gap at least.

The no roof area allows the player to designate an area which will not be covered by thin roofing once a surrounding wall is constructed. Jul 20 2016 1 16am anyone. Once designated you can right click on each tile but it s tedious it s faster to temporarily set a zone where the roof is and restrict a constructor in it the time to. If it s an overhead mountain collapsing colonists will be buried alive.

I provides a method to visually change between constructed thin rock overhead mountain or no roof on any of the map tiles in your game. Build another wall tile even further out connect with roof. Designating such an area will also remove existing thin roofs and thin rock roofs when applied but thick rock roofs will remain intact. Are you sure you are using the remove roof zone and not just removing the build roof zone there are 4 roof buttons in total.

Drawing a remove roof zone will cause colonists to remove a constructed roof. How to remove the roof when expend no roof area isn t working everytime i mine the roof collapse again last edited by oma.
